£9.99

Description

Beaphar Insecticidal Bird Spray is a veterinary strength medicine containing permethrin to control common external parasites on birds. One bottle of Beaphar Insecticidal Bird Spray contains sufficient product to treat up to 50 birds. Beaphar Insecticidal Bird Spray is easy-to-use and suitable for cage and aviary birds. We recommend treating all birds in the cage or aviary at the same time, and treating the environment with a suitable insecticide.

Instructions

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Hold the bird firmly and spray for a few seconds from a distance of 25-30 cm. Start at the rear of the bird and work towards the head. For small birds, use 1-2 pumps; for large birds, use 3-5 pumps. Spray against the natural lay of the feathers. Spray the complete plumage (not parts of it). Do not spray directly on to the head or non-feathered parts. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, ears, mouth or anus. To treat the head, spray liquid on a towel or glove and rub it over the feathers. All birds sharing a cage or aviary should be treated at the same time. Ensure good ventilation during and after the treatment. Repeat if necessary after 14 days. It is advisable to wear protective gloves when using this product. After treatment remove bath water as Bird Spray is active for up to two weeks provided the birds do not bathe. Diseased birds should only be treated in consultation with your veterinary surgeon. Do not treat birds with hatched young, birds younger than three months or birds with serious skin disorders.
